Our dependency on western countries has increased to a such a terrible
extend that we are forgetting our own problems...
Some examples -
1) Western companies develop softwares and send them to India for testing or
assign database management jobs for companies here... and most of our IT
sector is based on such works... Where is originality in this?
n sadly people from majors like biotech or mechanical ,rather than working
in their respective fields, are doing the same work as an IT graduate...
I'll like to know how many companies are working on developing indigenous
softwares for our own need? for example , please tell me have any indigenous
* Operating system * been developed by any Indian farm?
2) We lack in proper R n D... very few application based research is going
on in India..
for example medicine... we have'n developed any indigenous drug yet.. we
just change the process for development of drugs(developed by western
countries)..but western companies are trying to bring on patents on their
drugs..if they succeed in doing so , then even simple drugs like paracetamol
will be costlier..
Moreover diseases like malaria or chikngunia are not prevalent in developed
countries..so we need to address to these problems like this diseases our
selves..
3) Most importantly we are so busy urbanizing that we are forgetting
our *Rural India and Agriculture
* , the back bone of Indian society..Unless we develop these 2 areas , the
development of the country is not possible..
to indigenous solutions for our local problems rather than just following
the west....
and the involvement of each & every individual in this developmental process
is necessary..
